Snowy Hydro Project Management and Commercial Advisory Services
ProSquared has received a multi-year services agreement from Snowy Hydro to provide Project Management and Commercial Advisory Services in support of all their major projects.
Snowy Hydro has been generating on-demand, reliable energy for almost 70 years, and operates 16 power stations with more than 5,500 MW of generating capacity across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Snowy Hydro 2.0 is Australia’s largest committed renewable energy scheme. The pumped hydroelectric storage and generation project will involve the construction of a series of 27 kilometres of concrete-lined tunnels that will connect the existing Tantangara and Talbingo reservoirs located within the Snowy Scheme in New South Wales.
A new power station with pumping facilities will also be constructed approximately one kilometre underground between the two reservoirs.
When finished, the scheme will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage and help underpin the nation’s secure and stable transition to a low-carbon emissions future.
